Jonathan Sale
President

Mr.Sale is the Director, Producer, and Editor of both The Look Away Life and Sovereignty. As an actor, he recently completed the film City Teacher with Chuck D., Heather Tom, Glynn Turman, and Frank Vincent. Other films include Indian Cowboy with Sheetal Sheth, No Plan with Run DMC, Foreign Student with Robin Givens and Charles Dutton. Stage credits include A Soldier’s Play with Taye Diggs and Anthony Mackie and The Shape of Things with Paul Rudd, Rachel Weisz, and Gretchen Mol. Television credits include Law and Order, Law and Order: Criminal Intent, Ed, Third Watch, As The World Turns and Guiding Light. He is a graduate of The University of Richmond and The American Conservatory Theater.

 

H. Wayne Sale
Vice President, Finance

Mr.Sale is the Executive Producer of The Look Away Life and Sovereignty. He is the President, CEO and founder of the home health care company Health First, as well as the founder and former chairman of Ms.Wheelchair Virginia. He is a former president of The West Richmond Businessman’s Association as well as the 2004 Virgina Retail Merchant’s Association Retailer of The Year.

 

Heather Dilly
Vice President, Acquisitions

Ms. Dilly is the lead actress in both Sovereignty and The Look Away Life, for which she won Best Actress at The 2006 Long Island International Film Expo. She also voices many of the characters on the hit cartoon Pinky Dinky Doo. Stage credits include the World Premieres of Natural Selection, Sovereignty (Actors Theater of Louisville), and Off-Broadway’s Walk Two Moons, Bag Fulla Money, and Soccer Moms, directed by Judith Ivey. Other film credits include Blood Rights and Like A Springsteen Song. Ms.Dilly is also the writer of The Look Away Life and the upcoming novel Hailey Baily Investigates.

 

Lydia O’Neill
Producer

Ms.O’Neill is a Producer on Sovereignty and Associate Producer on The Look Away Life. Working with talented cast and crew, both established and burgeoning, has allowed her to build her skills in the industry. She has produced several other short films, a feature film entitled Like A Springsteen Song and is currently working on several new projects for Spring ‘08.

 

Scott Brooks
Staff Writer

Mr.Brooks is the first assistant director on both The Look Away Life and Sovereignty. In addition, Mr.Brooks wrote the off broadway play, Bag Fulla Money. He is also the Writer, Director, and the lead actor of Like A Springsteen Song. Scott continues to wear his many hats as a playwright, screenwriter, and director. He can also be seen on many sets as a freelance assistant director or location manager on several shorts, features, and music videos in addition to working for A&E and MTV networks. As a writer, he continues to see his work produced on stage and in front of the camera and has several projects in development.

 

Thomas “Fletcher” Kildren
Special Effects

Mr.Kildren joined the Laurel Films team as a technical adviser for The Look Away Life. With a background in visual arts and his love of technology, he then moved to animation and special effects for their next production, Sovereignty. His love of art and film keeps him busy working on multiple projects through his own business Fletcher Studios.
